Walking through some trees at night
Hungry best buds the Tick and the Mite
Slovenly coveting a bite

A lonely Stag stops and stares
A lotta skin but too many hairs
They wander to the next line of trees

And wind up in a clearing
Full of pink flesh, drunk and cheering
The buds put their little masks on
and grab their little bug guns

The Tick screams, "if you catch me and the cats in the act, you best step back"

But that's just what they're made to do
Can you blame them?
We were made to be their food
We're the same man

Little legs waddling along, tummies full, feeling strong
Their bloated bellies rub the forest floor
The Tick and the Mite debate the next score

As an orange glow grows in the distance
Around a wooden cabin and some pitched tents
A man emerges with friends at his back
Their boots rise and fall with a sickening splat

He laughs, "if you catch me and the cats in the act, you best step back"

But that's just what we're made to do
Can you blame us?
We don't want to be their food
Can you blame us?
